چکیده

A chute was designed following the principles of Theory Sampling to minimize variations in powder flow and provide all particles flowing blends with same opportunity being selected as a sample. The design also reduces thickness allow analysis higher portion by near infrared spectrometer. that flowed through had Carr’s index values fluctuated between 23 25 percent, indicating passable flowability. fowling evaluation demonstrated there no accumulation at inspection window chute. mass rate profiles indicated system achieves steady-state approximately 30 s throughput kg/h which makes it suitable for continuous manufacturing operations. An in-line NIR calibration model developed quantify caffeine concentrations 1.51 4.52 % w/w. spectra obtained from each experiment minimal baseline variation. method robust changes up ±7 %. test concentration range 2.02 w/w 4.02 met dose uniformity requirements Ph.Eur. 9.0, chapter 2.9.47. Variographic done estimate analytical sampling errors yielded below 0.01 (%w/w)2. results showed this could be used line or other applications powders.

An innovative technology for "random-access" sampling.

A major instrumental limitation to rapid, "random-access" clinical analysis has been cross-contamination at sampling and reagent probes. Use of an immiscible, nonreactive fluid as a positive barrier between the liquid sample and reagent and the interior and exterior surfaces of their respective probes provides an inert, deformable surface that both prevents carryover and ensures accurate delive...

Data fusion of Fourier transform infrared spectra and powder X-ray diffraction patterns for pharmaceutical mixtures.

Fusing complex data from two disparate sources has been demonstrated to improve the accuracy in quantifying active ingredients in mixtures of pharmaceutical powders. A four-component simplex-centroid design was used to prepare blended powder mixtures of acetaminophen, caffeine, aspirin and ibuprofen. The blends were analyzed by Fourier transform infra-red spectroscopy (FTIR) and powder X-ray di...

"Aquatic Metaphors": an Innovative Interface for Virtual Learning Spaces

Virtual learning environments are widely used in distance education as the learning space of choice, mainly for interaction and collaboration. However, they generally don't provide means to integrate easily other learning spaces. This paper presents and explains a new interface which can unite information spaces such as the web or online learning materials with interactive spaces such as virtua...

An Innovative Vocal Interface for Automotive Information Systems

The design of interfaces for automotive information systems is a critical task. In fact, in the vehicular domain the user is busy in the primary task of the driving, and any visual distraction inducted by the telematic systems can bring to serious consequences. Since road safety is paramount, it is needed to define new interaction metaphors, not affecting the driver’s visual workload, such as a...

An innovative approach to educating medical students about pharmaceutical promotion.

Prescription drugs comprise approximately 9% of the total cost of health care in the United States. The manner in which doctors obtain information about new and changing pharmaceuticals obviously has the potential to have a profound impact on health care costs, pharmaceutical companies' profits, and the quality of health care. Patterns learned in medical school undoubtedly influence physicians'...
